REQUIREMENTS:
• 18+
• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year customer service experience (food service preferred)
• Valid WA State Food Handler’s Card
• Must have superb customer service and communication skills
• Must be able to meet deadlines
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to multi-task and have strong problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Must be self-motivated

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Fridays 9 - 5:30 and Saturdays 8 - 4:30pm  - hours may
vary slightly
• Starts at minimum wage ($15.74/hour) 
• Responsibilities include:
• running a Square POS + cash drawer
• opening and closing duties
• set up of front of house
• keeping front of house and counter area tidy and organized
• taking customer orders in person and over phone
• restocking front product
• money/register handling
• making beverages (non-coffee)
• answering phone
• light cleaning
• selling bakery products
• packing baked goods for both customer orders and retail sales

Layered Cake Artistry is a custom cake and dessert studio located in historic Downtown Kennewick. We are looking for a FRONT OF HOUSE ASSOCIATE to join our small team. The perfect person for this position is FRIENDLY, self-motivated, organized, HAS EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, and likes to work hard and have fun! 

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• 18+

 Successfully interacts and serves as point-of-contact for venue clients to ensure
excellent and high quality guest experiences at Layered Studio
 Maintains a welcoming environment and demeanor while servicing guests in
person, on the phone, or via email
 Actively engages and responds promptly to venue clients, vendors, and guests
along with communicating their concerns and questions to the Venue Director
 Oversees set-up and clean-up of event space
 Maintains event spaces throughout the events
 Ensures total compliance with Layered Studio’s contracts, rules, and policies
 Effectively anticipate and respond promptly to the needs of venue clients
 Responsible for executing the event and securing the building at the end of events
 Supports the Layered Cake Artistry staff through administrative services and office coordination
Maintain knowledge of Layered Cake Artistry services and events to better serve guests
Manages multiple short-term and long-term priorities in an effective and organized manner in the execution of successful events
 Must be dependable, able to work independently and able to handle cash and credit card transactions when required for events
 Excellent communication and customer service skills facilitating successful and respectful engagement with a diverse group of stakeholders, visitors, and patrons
 Successfully perform other duties as assigned by Venue Director and owners
General knowlegde of Microsoft Suite, and Apple products preferred

on site venue liaison

Layered Cake Artistry is a custom cake and dessert studio located in historic Downtown Kennewick. We are looking for AN ONSITE EVENT LIAISON to join our small team. The Onsite Venue Liaison will provide oversite of venue rentals for event clients in
collaboration with the Layered Studio Team. The candidate will successfully work with
venue clients to create exceptional service from the beginning to the end of events. The
Onsite Venue Liaison is responsible for enforcing the facility rules and policies,
organizing audio visual needs, checking venue clients into and out of the space, and
securing the building at the end of events. He or she will additionally exercise excellent
communication and customer service skills in engaging and servicing a diverse group of
stakeholders, visitors, and patrons.
